MINSK, 25 September (BelTA) – The Polish company Elektrobudowa SA is interested in setting up joint ventures with Belarusian producers of electric equipment, BelTA learnt from Belenergo.
Representatives of the Polish company have visited Belarus to have talks with representatives of the Belarusian Energy Ministry, Industry Ministry and Belenergo. The Polish guests visited the Minsk Electrotechnical Plant, Belelectromontazhnaladka, Raton, Gomelkabel, Belselelectrosetstroi and the Belozersk Electromechanical Plant.
During the talks, the sides discussed the variants of the cooperation in producing and equipping the energy facilities of both the countries with electrical equipment, cabling and wiring products. Elektrobudowa SA not only offers its products but it is ready to promote Belarusian goods on the Polish market. Elektrobudowa SA also shows an interest in setting up joint production facilities with Belarusian companies.
According to the results of the visit, the sides have drafted the protocol of intentions. The Belarusian and Polish sides are expected to share information and commercial proposals, hold regular talks in Poland in November this year.
Elektrobudowa was founded in 1953. In 1992, Elektrobudowa was reorganized into open joint stock company. Elektrobudowa SA provides a complete range of construction and installation services, executing projects for power sector and petrochemical industry.
